Ringo Julian, Barcelona 1962, is a pop artist with an extensive background as a painter, drafter, poster designer and activist. Besides, his paintings highlights include concert posters, record covers, happenings and experimental films, areas in which he worked until the last XX century. Currently, in his works converge elements from Pop Art with a psychedelic perception.

Can Pop Gallery has the opportunity to show the ¿CON QUIÉN ANDAN NUESTRAS HIJAS? (Who are our daughters going with?) series (1992-1995), a retrospective of this Catalan artist consisting of 16 acrylics of the overall 69 that formed the series. These works combine pop and typographic components with portraits of girls, acrylics, some of which have been exhibited in many cities throughout Spain: Barcelona, Alicante, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Tarragona, Leon and Gijon. And now they are reaching Girona: real Pop paintings performed by a real Pop artist!
