Glock trigger assembly

Many law officers carry the Glock pistol with a bullet in the chamber. Many carry this pistol in a special holster for concealed weapons. They believe that if you should be ready to use the weapon if you are going to carry it. The reason for this is that lf a situation arises where you need the weapon, you will probably need it in a hurry. As a result of the fact that the safety on the Glock is the safe trigger, it will make the carrier feel comfortable. However, recently Glock has introduced a safety that is a replacement trigger known as Siderlock that provides an extra safety blockade.

This replacement trigger has pin that a movable that will either completely unlocks or lock the trigger. This provides an additional level of comfort when carrying the Glock at the ready. This replacement trigger also makes the weapon much safer handle when it isn't in its holster.

You will have to pay approximately $50 for the Siderlock trigger which is available from TopGlock. When they deliver it, it will come with a bushing and a pin. The bushing is used to lift the weapon off of the table and the pin is used push out the pins in the weapon. That way when you remove the pins they will simply drop out.

To remove the original trigger from the Glock, you have to remove the slide from the frame. Then you have to remove the two front and rear pins from the frame which will allow you to remove all of the remaining components. Obviously this includes the original trigger. Then you have to remove the trigger from the trigger connector bar by removing the pin that holds them together.

The Siderlock trigger comes with instructions that you should follow. You have to remove the safety pin from the Glock trigger assembly. Then you assemble the frame without the trigger. Once you have all the components replaced, you have to attach the new Siderlock trigger to the trigger connector bar and your weapon is ready for the slide and is then completely assembled with the new safety trigger. This entire process will only that you about five minutes. It will also only take you about five minutes to put in new springs and connectors once you are familiar with your Glock.
